Three major raves already in!
A play that unfolds new layers with almost every scene. One of the best ensembles on the Austin stage. A phenomenally talented cast. A dark, bizarre, yet still hilarious night of theater.
- Austin American Statesman

An engaging cocktail of Gothic mystery, modern absurdity, and stunning surprises . . . Unforgettable . . . For 25 years, Hyde Park Theatre has consistently produced theatre that is thought-provoking, edgy, and of highest quality. The Moors is no exception.
- Austin Chronicle

Darkly delightful . . . The cast here is terrific. The standout performance goes to Jess Hughes as the rather unstable sister Huldey [who] makes the most of the material she is given ending in a riotously funny unhinged concert moment. Wonderfully twisted and a great evening of hearty belly laughs that make it a good way to forget the week's troubles.
- Broadway World Austin

Picture the Brontë sisters, but with American accents. Picture a large dog falling in obsessive love with a small bird. Picture a dark, satirical comedy that will haunt you like a strange dream. Come see one of the first productions in the country of a play The New York Times called "inspired . . . rolls out like the stuff of dreams . . . This is the reason we go to theater."

The HPT production of The Moors by Jen Silverman stars Lindsay Hearn Brustein, Crystal Bird Caviel, Patrick Gathron, Catherine Grady, Jess Hughes, Katie Kohler, and Dave Yakubik. Directed by Ken Webster.
