Submissions Script Submissions Hyde Park Theatre accepts query letters with sample dialogue pages for full-length plays year-round. A self-addressed, stamped postcard or envelope is required with submissions in order to facilitate the response process. We regret to announce that due to funding cuts, we have had to suspend our Hyde Park Theatre Play Development Reading Series (Play DRS). We hope to continue it again soon. The literary department seeks works that confront, challenge, and entertain from both new and established writers of the alternative theatre. Intelligent emotion, savage humor, and eccentric wit are especially encouraged. Please see our About and History pages for more information about our theatre. In addition, we ask that plays be typed in standard playwriting format, with character names centered and stage directions italicized. Submission Guidelines
